"Completion of the IAHS decade on Prediction in Ungauged Basins and the way ahead"

Scientific objective and scope
At the 90th anniversary of IAHS we celebrate the closure of the PUB decade (2003-2012), which was the major world-wide
research initiative of IAHS to enhance our capacity to predict hydrological behaviour in ungauged or poorly gauged
catchments. During the meeting the report of the Decade "Runoff prediction in ungauged basins- Synthesis across processes,
places and scales" and the PUB Manual will be launched and presented. Scientists from all over the world will discuss the
way forward and generate ideas about the remaining challenges and key research questions for the future, as well as
practical implementation resulting from the PUB decade.
