A new textbook of interest to IAHS members, 'Streamflow Generation: Processes and Perceptual Models', is available open access from Oxford University Press. Read the book free on Oxford Academic.

The book is for senior undergraduates and beginning graduate students. It offers an equation-free account of the flow pathways, sources and travel times of water through headwater catchments. Its aim is to make process hydrology more accessible by tracing where the early ideas came from, what we know today and what remains to be understood.
