IUGG 2027 Scientific Programme Now Online!

November 2026

The 29th IUGG General Assembly will be held 16 to 22 July 2027 in Songdo ConvensiA, Incheon, Republic of Korea. This is a special opportunity for participants from around the world to come together and share their science and culture. Join us for a host of scientific activities, including special public lectures, keynote Union lectures and a wide variety of themed sessions.

New Forum Program

The IAHS-led programme will run from 16–20 July 2027. IAHS will adopt the same forum format used at the IAHS 2025 Scientific Assembly in Roorkee, with no parallel IAHS Association Symposia, encouraging interaction across the hydrological community. The IAHS Association Symposia are organised around our International Commissions, Working Groups, Committees and initiatives. Explore their scientific scope and select the session associated with your preferred IAHS group or initiative when preparing your abstract.

When completing the registration form, be sure to tick the button or ‘IAHS - International Association of Hydrological Sciences’ in the delegate profile question ‘Which association/research field are you most affiliated with?’. This has an important long term impact on the IUGG support to IAHS. Also, if you are an early career scientist (as defined as An early career scientist is a Undergraduate or Master Student, a Ph.D. Candidate, or a practicing scientist who received their highest academic degree within the past 10 years) tick that button.
