IUGG Early Career Scientist Award and STAHY Best Paper Award 2014

Our congratulations go to the recipients of the IUGG Early Career Scientist Award and the STAHY Best Paper Award.

 

On 5th November 2014 ten scientists were awarded the Early Career Scientist Awards of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) for their outstanding research in Earth and space sciences and for their international research cooperation. The Hydrology prize went to Markus Hrachowitz (The Netherlands). For full details read the IUGG news release.

IUGG will formally recognize the Awardees at the Opening Ceremony of the XXVI General Assembly of IUGG in Prague, Czech Republic.

The STAHY Best Paper Award 2014 is awarded to:

Ludovic Oudin, University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris,
Alison Kay, Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, Wallingford, UK,
Vazken Andréassian, Irstea, Antony, France,
Charles Perrin, Irstea, Antony, France

The recipient of the STAHY Best Paper award 2014 will be keynote speaker at the STAHY’14 Workshop, Abu Dhabi, November 2014.
