CORDOBA WORKSHOP

An in-person event with limited number of participants will be held 1-3 February 2023 in Córdoba, Spain, to decide on the topic for the next scientific decade, after an initial online discussion. This will not be a hybrid meeting but with frequent on-line forum iterations every day. The workshop will be hosted by Professor María José Polo at the University of Córdoba.

The overall aim with a Scientific Decade is to accumulate knowledge and streamline research efforts worldwide. Previous experience show that such initiatives foster engagement, sharing and collective focus to better understand specific hydrological problems or phenomena - and thereby accelerate scientific achievements. IAHS now search for a scientific topic that is broad enough to engage the wider hydrological community but narrow enough for concerted actions (click here for Outcome Document).
