IAHS Press

Established at Wallingford, UK, in 1972 and its staff probably produce more scientific publications dealing with hydrology and water resources than any other publisher. IAHS Press publish the Red Book Series, Special Publications Series (Blue Books), the Benchmark Series and the Hydrological Sciences Journal (HSJ) (https://iahs.info/Publications-News/).

Since 2015, IAHS conference proceedings have been published by Copernicus Publications open access as volumes in Proceedings of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences, PIAHS. This change means that papers published in the IAHS proceedings journal are free to view/download, and so visible to a worldwide audience. The metadata for each paper is available to indexing organisations and citations will be recorded. Print copies of PIAHS volumes are available to order. Full papers in the older Red Book Series are being loaded onto the IAHS website on an ongoing basis.

HSJ was originally published three times a year from 1953 as the Bulletin of IASH; it became HSJ in 1982 and now has 16 issues a year, with more than 2200 pages per volume, published in partnership with Taylor & Francis https://www.tandfonline.com/journals/thsj20
