MOXXI's FIRST TOPICAL CONFERENCE will be held on November 21st, 2016 at the European Space Agency (ESA) - ESRIN Centre for Earth Observation in Frascati (RM), Italy. The meeting will offer a great opportunity to MOXXI's friends and enthusiasts to share ideas and present their research through oral, poster, and hands-on presentations.
Contributions are welcome on innovative sensors, novel methods of data analysis, large sensing networks, and innovative observations in Earth sciences.

- DEADLINES and MILESTONES
The call for abstracts will open on March 31st and will end on August 14th. Presentation and poster templates will be available on this page.

In the email body, please specify if you would like your contribution to be considered for oral or poster presentation.
Showcasing instruments and demonstrating methodologies is also possible. Please indicate if you would be available for a hands-on presentation as well as your demonstration's space/logistics requirements in the email body at the time of the abstract submission.
- REGISTRATION
The Executive Committee is actively working to guarantee participation to MOXXI's friends through a low registration fee.
Registration for the conference is €150.00. It includes participation in the meeting and the social dinner (on Monday evening at Casa dell'Aviatore in Rome). Payment is via bank transfer, the deadline to register is on September 15th, 2016.

- VENUE
The meeting will be held at the ESA Centre for Earth Observation, located in Frascati, a small town 20 km south of Rome in Italy. Click here for a closer look at the venue!
ESRIN is easily accessible by cab or train. For car solutions, please check out ESA's page.
Alternatively, you can catch a train from Termini Central Station in Rome to Tor Vergata (10 minutes-walking distance from ESRIN). Train ride takes approximately 20 minutes one-way. Trains are available every half an hour, and tickets are €1.50 one-way. Tickets can be conveniently purchased online here.
- ACCOMODATION
A number of single/double rooms is available at the prestigious Casa dell'Aviatore, located within 15 minutes-walking distance from Termini Central Station. Single rooms are available from €51 to €71. Double rooms can be reserved as well from €83 to €103. Breakfast and access to wi-fi is included. Prices are to be intended per day. A tourist tax of €3.50 needs to be added per person.
