PRESENTER INSTRUCTIONS

ORAL PRESENTATIONS:

        • Speakers will have 15 minutes TOTAL for their presentations, including question time. Ideally your talk will be planned for 12 minutes and allow 3 minutes for questions.
        • At each break in the meeting, we will upload talks for the next set of sessions. Please bring your presentation on a USB drive so that it can be transferred to the main computer running from the projector in the room.
        • There will no online participation for this workshop and your presentations will not be recorded. We will ask the audience to refrain from taking photos or videos of your presentation materials unless you specify otherwise.
           

POSTER PRESENTATIONS: 

        • You will have the option to utilize 3 minutes in the plenary workshop to introduce your poster. To do this, you MUST download this template as a .ppt and edit according to the template provided. 
        • We will compile all the slides together into one large presentation. For this reason, you need to email [email protected] with your completed slides by Friday 3 November. (If you do not have access to PowerPoint, please contact [email protected].) Ignore how Google shows the layout of the slide masters; the slides will look normal when you download the template and open in PowerPoint.
        • The venue has agreed to print out your poster, if you follow this template. Presenters can download a copy and edit it as needed; however, the important parts of the template to follow are the size (24 inches x 36 inches), the border, and the sponsor names. You can, of course, add additional affiliations and logos as appropriate. You do not have to follow the content layout. This is only a guide.
        • To have the print order completed in time, completed posters need to be emailed to [email protected] by 25 October.
