STAHY Workshop 2026

STAHY Workshop 2026

The STAHY 2026 workshop brings together the international statistical hydrology community for vibrant scientific discussions and debates on advanced statistical methods for hydrological applications. We are especially happy to be joined by the International Commission of Groundwater for exciting exchange and interdisciplinary sessions. Focusing on the broader scope of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations in 2015, the theme of the workshop is expected to address several goals but are not limited to Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), Climate Action (SDG 13), and Life on Land (SDG 15).

The STAHY 2026 workshop, the 15th edition of this workshop, will take place in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, in July 2026. We are grateful for the support of the IAHS African Regional Committee and especially by our local chair, the University of Zimbabwe, in person of Hodson Makurira.
