Central Asian Water Resources and Climate Change - hydrology as a key for better adaptation to climate change: Lead by Abror Gafurov
IAHS is a global organisation. With this working group, we would like to invite scientists to join the discussions dedicated to the Central Asian hydrological cycle. Central Asia is one of the most vulnerable regions to climate change. Droughts, floods and other natural hazards related to water has become a problem in the region and discussion of these challenges in such a group might help the Central Asian water science get attention and prepare scientifically sound adaptation measures.
